History of Training to YOU
Training to YOU was founded by Tim Smith in 2003 as an Arizona corporation. Although Training to YOU itself has existed over a decade, the roots in the Phoenix market reach back to 1986 with the foundation of the training company, Training à la Carte. Training to YOU founder and CEO, Tim Smith, was a lead account manager for Training à la Carte. When Training à la Carte decided to close their doors in 2003, Tim purchased the assets and launched Training to YOU
Private Post-Secondary School
Tim Smith added on to the Training to YOU corporate and government training center piece by founding Computer Career Institute, a licensed private school with the Arizona State Board for Private Post-Secondary Education, in 2005. Computer Career Institute (now TTY Career College) enrolled the first student in the fall of 2005. Since 2005 the school has been renamed TTY Career College to better reflect the variety of offerings that are now available to individuals seeking to advance their careers through focused and short term career programs. Awards and Recognitions
Training to YOU is currently a testing center for Certiport and Pearson VUE. Training to YOU has been recognized by the Phoenix Business Journal as a Top 10 Computer Training School in the Phoenix market. Training to YOU also received the Phoenix Business Journal prestigious Volunteerism Award in the category of Community Stewardship for its commitment to volunteering and giving back to the Phoenix community. Training to YOU takes great pride in both its status in the community and its loyalty to the Phoenix area community as a whole.
